We are seeking Registered Nurses in Intellectual Disability (RNID) or Registered Psychiatric Nurses (RPN) for agency shifts in Arklow. This hands-on role primarily involves waking night shifts and requires full participation in daily living tasks including cooking, cleaning, medication administration and personal care for an Intellectual Disability services. Full-time waking night shifts are available throughout September and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:

Administer medications, including Buccal Midazolam

Provide full nursing care and support during waking night shifts

Assist with cooking, cleaning, and household tasks

Support personal care and daily living activities
-
Work proactively and collaboratively within a team environment
Requirements:

NMBI registration (RNID or RPN division)

Experience in intellectual disability or complex care settings
-
Confident and hands-on approach, able to manage challenging situations

Willingness to assist with cooking and cleaning responsibilities
-
Full driver’s licence desirable but not essential

Availability for mostly waking night shifts is essential
