Location: Dublin 1 (Hybrid – 2 days per week in office)
Salary: €37,397 per annum
Contract: 2-Year Fixed Term Contract

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to join a busy public sector client, providing high-quality administrative support across multiple teams and divisions. Reporting to the Executive Assistant, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and organise meetings and events, both on and offsite, including room bookings and catering arrangements.

  • Attend meetings, take notes, and prepare minutes.

  • Arrange business travel and process related expense claims.

  • Assist with conference and training registrations.

  • Collate information for team updates and maintain internal records.

  • Support procurement processes including purchase orders, tendering, and contract management.

  • Monitor expenditure and assist with budget preparation.

  • Provide diary management support across divisions as needed.

  • Carry out general administrative duties and assist with the preparation and implementation of the annual work programme.

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.

  • Proficient in MS Office and comfortable learning new systems.

  • Experience coordinating meetings, events, and travel arrangements.

  • Previous experience supporting multiple teams in a busy environment.

  • Knowledge of procurement and budget processes is an advantage.

Desirable:

  • Experience working in a public sector or semi-state organisation.

  • Familiarity with telecommunications or digital markets.

  • Knowledge and experience of public sector procurement processes.
