A well-established retail group in Oranmore, Galway are seeking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join their team. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will support financial operations for each of their stores
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the accounts payable function with a strong focus on pricing and quantity accuracy
- Complete weekly bank and cash reconciliations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies
- Prepare and deliver weekly reports for each store.
- Assist with ad-hoc financial projects as directed by the Financial Controller
Skills:
- A high level of accuracy and the ability to meet deadlines
- An accounting or finance qualification with a min of 1 year office-based accounts experience.
- A collaborative approach and a commitment to exceptional customer service and operational standards
- Strong computer literacy, particularly in Excel and accounting software
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage across all levels of the organisation
