Accounts Technician
Location: Carlow / Kilkenny Border
Type: Permanent, Full-Time (4 or 5 days per week, onsite)
About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Technician to manage the day-to-day finance function of the business. This is a fully onsite position with flexibility to work 4 or 5 days per week. Reporting directly to management, the successful candidate will take ownership of wages, accounts administration, and supplier management.
Key Responsibilities
• Processing weekly payroll for approximately 25 employees using Thesaurus Payroll software
• Managing supplier invoices, payments, and reconciliations
• Preparing and submitting ROS returns
• Managing company banking including lodgements and reconciliations
• Maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers
• Supporting management with ad hoc finance and administration duties
Candidate Requirements
• Accounting Technician qualification (or equivalent experience)
• Strong payroll experience, ideally with Thesaurus Payroll
• Good working knowledge of ROS and general accounting practices
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and manage own workload
