Our client, a leading heavy industrial plant in Ireland, the largest of its kind in Europe

The brief (what the client required):

To expand, my client requires Mechanical, Chemical, Process, Civil / Structural & Design Engineers for contact and permanent roles.  Must be senior candidates with 10 years + experience & heavy industrial plant backgrounds.  A tall order! But we love a challenge!

Process we undertook:

We met our client for consultation and a plant tour, to identify exactly what the ideal candidate for each role would be.  We advised our client on current market conditions in terms of financial packages, locations to source candidates from at home and abroad and agreed on a budget.


This campaign would need muscle!  National advertising and International Job boards were utilised and long days worked trawling through our internal databases, searching for those ‘stand out’ candidates.  In addition we searched through external databases and Social Media sites to build a strong pool of suitable candidates.

Screen & Vetting:

Telephone Screenings, Skype and face to face interviews were conducted (location dictated same) we are thorough at interview stage and meticulous in our background and reference checking stages to ensure quality submittals.


Once screenings were complete we put candidates CVs forward by email with a detailed cover sheet for each person, outlining strengths, financial and interest levels in the role and company.  We organised all interviews in a timely manor and documented everything on our database


4 exceptionally good candidates offered and accepted roles in first 9 weeks of the campaign for contract and permanent roles, the campaign continues and more candidates will be placed this year!
