Hotel Operations Manager

Our client is looking to recruit a Hotel Operations Manager for their award winning 4* Hotel in Co. Sligo. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to running and maintaining the quality and efficiency of the Hotel.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations and report to the General Manager
  • Supervision of staff including human resources, ensuring that staff requirements are consistently met
  • Interact with customers effectively to ensure satisfaction
  • Effective and efficient running of the Hotel
  • Manage operations for events, e.g. weddings
  • Have a visible presence within the hotel ensuring that all customer needs are consistently met
  • Ensure all relevant Fire, Health & Safety & HACCP training is carried out along with any other statutory requirements that need to be adhered to
  • Liaise with the Financial Controller to forecast & control the weekly payroll and all other costs, in line with budget
  • Supervisor development, performance reviews, progression planning
  • Resolve guest complaints in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times
  • Motivating, influencing and leading staff in a professional manner so that they fully understand expectations

Requirements:

  • 3rd Level qualification in Hospitality
  • Minimum of 3 year's Senior Management/Operations experience in a 4/5* Hotel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Proficient computer skills
