THE ROLE:

My client a market leading multi-national technology supplier are currently looking to recruit a Global Sales Support Engineer to join their expanding team based at their Cork facility. This company operates in over 40 countries worldwide and are leading the way in providing its customers with bespoke services, software applications, cutting-edge components and engineering solutions.

Working as part of the International Services Team you will be working with a team of talented international professionals in a dynamic, challenging and fast paced environment where customer focus is essential, a non-hierarchical approach is the norm and where your primary role will be to provide business development support across the organization, developing and maintaining customer relationships and promoting services to maximise sales opportunities.

THE FIT:

To be successful in this role you will need technical engineering knowledge/background ideally in the manufacturing sector and have the ability to understand services sales relations and processes in the industrial engineering context.

You will need to be degree qualified in a technical/engineering field and demonstrate a systematic approach to problem solving.

This role will especially suit candidates with a background in an engineering or technician role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment who are looking to move away from core engineering towards a more commercial/sales career path.
