Job Overview

FRS Recruitment on behalf of their client, an acute general hospital in the Southeast of Ireland is currently recruiting a EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT REGISTRAR for the July 2016 rotation. The ideal candidate will have strong surgical experience, and will be currently working at Registrar level or have at least 5 years relevant experience. FRS19232


To be considered for this position it is essential that the doctor has Irish Medical Council (IMC) Registration or be in the process of attaining registration.
It is also essential that the doctor has at least 5 years prior relevant experience.

This hospital is a major adult hospital in the South East region of Ireland providing acute and emergency, paediatric and maternity care services for the local area as well as specialist referral services for the region. The hospital has 210 inpatient and 27 outpatient beds and provides clinical services in: Medicine, General Surgery, Gynaecology, Obstetrics and Paediatrics. The hospital treats approximately 15,000 inpatients and 9,000 day cases per annum. The hospital participates in the Irish Hospice Foundation's national programme to mainstream hospice principles within hospital practice. It focuses on four key themes generated from a pilot project: Integrated Care; Communication; Dignity & Design; Patient Autonomy.
