Temping for FRS Recruitment is an invaluable source of employment whether you are looking for a role that can lead on to something more permanent (which believe me, happens a lot) or something to tide you over whilst looking for permanent work. A lot of our already registered Reception and Office Support temps love having the flexibility temp work provides along with experiencing different industries and working environments.
Although for the most part, experience working in similar environments may not be necessary, there is some criteria that is essential when working in these kind of roles:
- IT Literate - Competent using MS Office; any other experience using other systems is an advantage
- Communication skills - You must have a good level of English
- Excellent telephone manner - especially if you are looking to work in reception roles
- Commercial presentation - Although you will be advised on client by client basis, you must be aware that most companies looking for Reception or Office Support staff will be dressed in office wear meaning you must be too
